Being from Texas, we do love our beef brisket and this is a very flavorful recipe with a great sauce
In large saucepan, combine the first 9 ingredients . Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Put 2 cups of the sauce into bowl and refrigerate to be served with the brisket.
Put the brisket in a shallow baking dish; brush with the Liquid Smoke. Pour the remaining sauce over the brisket and bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 3 hours or until the meat is tender.
Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting the meat across the grain. Heat the sauce reserved to serve with the meat.
