| 2 cansgarbanzo beans; drained |
| 2 clovesgarlic; peeled |
| 6 T. fresh lemon juice; more if desired |
| 6 T. tahini; sesame seed paste |
| 4 T. olive oil |
| Optional: 4 t. fresh jalapeno; seeded and minced |
Jan's Hummus Preparation
In food processor, finely chop beans and garlic. Add lemon juice and remaining ingredients; process to coarse puree. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and extra lemon juice as desired. Can be made ahead, up to a week; store in air tight container.
