For those who enjoy salt and vinegar chips, this gives you the flavour in a regular side dish.
Cut the potatoes into slices, and put in a medium saucepan that is already filled with vinegar. The potatoes should be completely covered by the vinegar. Bring the vinegar to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. (Easy to stick a fork in, but will keep their shape on a grill).
Let the potatoes cool in the vinegar for about 30 minutes, then drain the vinegar and lightly toss in the olive oil, salt and pepper.
Set the grill to medium high and grill on each side until they are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side.
