Brined Panko Breaded Pork Chops

If you don't like dried out pork chops, this recipe is for you. Very moist and flavorful and easy to make.

Ingredients
| 4 cupswater; divided |
| 2 tablespoonskosher salt |
| 2 tablespoonsbrown sugar |
| 1 bay leaf |
| 1 teaspoonpepper |
| 1 teaspoonpepper flakes |
| 1 teaspon minced garlic |
| Olive oil |
| Plain Panko bread crumbs |
| 4 pork chops |
Brined Panko Breaded Pork Chops Preparation
Boil 2 cups of water with the salt and sugar until desolved. Add the other 2 cups of water with the next 4 spices. Add the pork chops once the brine has cooled down. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours but not more than 24.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Remove the pork chops from the brine and rinse under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil then coat with the Panko bread crumbs.
Bake for 10 minutes, then drop the temperature to 325 degrees and bake an additional 20 minutes.

You need to plan ahead. Pork chops need to be brined a minimum of 12 hours prior to baking. The brine needs to be cool before adding the pork chops. [I posted this recipe.]
