This is the best Italian meatloaf I have ever eaten.

Original recipe makes 10 Servings
2 lb.ground beef
1 bottlePrego spaghetti sauce (Reserve 1 cup.)
1 onion; chopped
1 bell pepper chopped
2 Eggs
1 cupParmesan cheese
1 tablespoonItalian seasoning
1 teaspoonbasil
1 can(14 ounces) diced Italian tomatoes; drained
1 cupMozzarella cheese

Italian Meatloaf Preparation

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients, except the Mozzarella cheese, reserving 1 cup of

the spaghetti sauce for topping. Transfer to baking pan and shape into loaf. Place in oven

and bake at 350 F. for 1 hour. Spread the remaining sauce on top and bake for another

ten minutes. Top with the cheese and bake until melted. Let stand 5 minutes before

serving.
