Italian Meatloaf
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 10 Servings
| 2 lb.ground beef |
| 1 bottlePrego spaghetti sauce (Reserve 1 cup.) |
| 1 onion; chopped |
| 1 bell pepper chopped |
| 2 Eggs |
| 1 cupParmesan cheese |
| 1 tablespoonItalian seasoning |
| 1 teaspoonbasil |
| 1 can(14 ounces) diced Italian tomatoes; drained |
| 1 cupMozzarella cheese |
Italian Meatloaf Preparation
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients, except the Mozzarella cheese, reserving 1 cup of
the spaghetti sauce for topping. Transfer to baking pan and shape into loaf. Place in oven
and bake at 350 F. for 1 hour. Spread the remaining sauce on top and bake for another
ten minutes. Top with the cheese and bake until melted. Let stand 5 minutes before
serving.
