Cook sugar, syrup & 1 cup cream about 10 minutes
Add warm cup cream very slowly & cook 5 more minutes
Add ubtter slowly
Cook to 230? (use candy thermomator)
Lower heat (lo to medium) & cook slowly to 242?
Remove from heat
Add salt & vanilla
Allow to cool 10 minutes
Pour into buttered 8x8 square pan
Cool until smooth enough to cut
Cut into strips, then each strip into thirds
Wrap in small pieces of wax paper, twist each end
Can be frozen
