Amaretto Slush Preparation

Here are some recipes for holiday season drinks, copied from Southern Living Magazine a few years ago: Pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and let stand 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and discard. Transfer tea to a 2-quart freezer container. Stir in 3 1/2 C. water and next 4 ingredients. Cover and freeze until firm. To serve, partially thaw until slushy. Pour equal amounts of slush mixture and ginger ale into serving glasses. Yield: 1 gallon. NDOOLEY@PRESIDENT-PO.PRESIDENT .UIOWA.EDU REC.FOOD.RECIPES From rec.food.cooking archives.
