The best ever chili in a crock pot!
Cook the beef and turkey in a skillet until brown. Remove from the stove, break up the meat and place in crock pot. Add all ingredients to crock pot. Stir. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve with your favorite trimmings. Note that you will want to stir it about three times during cooking if you can.
Note, if you are from Texas, you probably do not like beans in your chili. No problem...just add an additional pound of meet and another can of diced tomatoes....Oh, and one other thing. If you REALLY want to knock out your guests you are going to have to contact the Slovacek Sausage Company in Snook, Texas. Ask them to send you their chili mix. Rather than use the chili powder noted above, substitute one half package of the Slovacek mix. Now you are cooking!!!
