1 poundground beef
1 largeonion; chopped
1 clovegarlic; minced
1 8 oz cantomato sauce
1/2 cupwater
1 teaspoonsalt
1/2 teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoonground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoonpepper
1 poundelbow macaroni; cooked and drained
1 wholeegg; lightly beaten
1/2 cupparmesan cheese
1/4 cupbutter
1/4 cupall-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoonground cinnamon
3 cupsmilk
2 wholeEggs; lightly beaten
1/3 cupparmesan cheese

Greek Pasta and Beef Preparation

In a skillet, cooked beef, onion and garlic over med heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 10 min, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine macaroni, egg adn chese; set aside. In a large saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour adn cinnamon until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to boil over med heat; cook adn stir for 2 min or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat; cool slightly. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into eggs; return all to pan. Cook and stir for 2 mi. Remove from heat, stir in sauce. In a greased 3 qrt baking dish, spread half of the macaroni mixture.Top with beef mixture and remaining macaroni mixture. Pour sauce over the top. Bake uncovered at 350 fro 45-50 minutes. Let stand 5 min before serving.
