1 TablespoonLight brown suger
1 TablespoonGranulated garlic
1 TablespoonDried thyme
2 1/4 TeaspoonsSalt
3/4 TeaspoonsGround black pepper
3/4 TeaspoonsGround allspice

Rod's Turkey Rub Preparation

Mix all ingredients together, rub on turkey both inside and out at least 1 hour prior to grilling. I tightly wrap in plastic wrap to hold the spices against the meat while sitting.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper for a little more zest.

Notes

If your turkey is 12lbs or larger you need to double the recipe.
