"Very tasty. I added 3 cloves of minced garlic to mine as well as I used chicken stock instead of water. My family loves it. It's become a staple in our household. "- amygoostree

Place the chicken, soup, and onion into a crock pot or slow cooker. Fill with enough water to cover the ingredients. Cover and cook for 5 1/2 to 6 hours on high. Approximately 30 minutes before serving, add the biscuit dough and continue cooking for 30 minutes.

heatherrichardson-ulicki 4 months agoKinda bland. Added garlic powder, salt & pepper. The dumplings were good. I took another reviewers advice and only used one can. Next time I think I will add garlic, salt and pepper to the crock pot.

LMBarnes 2 years agoI made this dish tonight. Everything seemed to come out good except the dumplings. AFter 30 minutes they were very mushy and broke apart easily. The chicken and mixture was tasty though. I am not sure if I would make this again... with the biscuits and soup, it tasted a little too salty for me.
Autumnmichelle 2 years agoLoved this recipe. I added milk after cooked.
Lucas718 3 years agoI've made this several times. You may want to use only 1 can of biscuits as they tend to expand and absorb a lot of the liquid.
