Easy Cranberry Apple Pie

This is a great non-traditional pie for Thanksgiving

Ingredients

Servings          
Original recipe makes 8 Servings
3 cupspeeled sliced apples
1/2 cupsugar or splenda
3 Tablespoonsflour
1/2 teaspooncinnamon
1/4 teaspoonnutmeg
2 Tablespoonsbutter or margarine; melted
1 16-oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce
pie; crust for 2 crust pie

Easy Cranberry Apple Pie Preparation

Heat oven to 425 degrees.

In large bowl, combine all ingredients except crust and mix lightly. Spoon

into crust lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edges with fork or flute.

Cut slits in top of crust.

Bake at 425 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until crust is golden and apples

are

tender.

Notes

If necessary, cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15

minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
