Tasty teriyaki sauce that's thick and easy to make. We started making this sauce ourselves because we enjoy stir fry with sweet teriyaki flavor and prefer a thick sauce.
In a glass bowl or a 2 quart mason jar, mix all but cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water with a hand blender. Ingredients should not comletely fill the bowl or jar - need to leave room so it doesn't boil over. Microwave for 1 - 2 minutes to heat.
Dissolve cornstarch in ? cup cold water. Stir into bowl with heated Honey Teriyaki Sauce ingredients. Cook in microwave until thickened - taking out to stir every 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Store in refrigerator.
Can make, cook and store this sauce in all in a 2 quart wide-mouth mason jar - very easy!
