Broccoli Salad
Original recipe makes 8 Servings
| 1 headbroccoli |
| 8 slicescooked bacon, crumbled |
| 1/2 cupchopped red onion |
| 8 ozsharp cheddar cheese, shredded small |
| 1/2 cupraisins |
| 1/2 cuphalved cherry tomatoes |
| Dressing |
| 1 cupmayonnaise |
| 1/4 cupsugar |
| salt and freshly ground pepper |
Broccoli Salad Preparation
Trim off the leaves on the broccoli stem then cut off the tough end of the stalk and wash. Cut the head into flowerets and stem into thin flat slices. Combine with crumbled bacon, red onion, raisins, shredded cheese and tomatoes. In another bowl, combine all dressing ingredients and whisk. Pour dressing over broccoli mixture and gently toss. Refridgerate until ready to serve.
