Servings
Original recipe makes 28 Servings
1 jar or canSauerkraut; rinsed and drained
1 8 oz packageCream cheese; cubed
2 cupsShredded swiss cheese
1 3 oz packageDeli corned beef; chopped
3 tablespoonPrepared Thousand Island Dressing
Snack crackers and/or rye bread

Reuben Spread Preparation

In a 1 1/2 quart slow cooker, combine the first five ingredients. Cover and cook for 2 hours or until cheeses are melted; stir to blend. Serve warm with bread or crackers. Yield is 3 1/2 cups.

Notes

Use the low fat versions of cheese and cream cheese to lower the calorie and fat counts. I do like to use the full fatted version of 1,000 dressing. (I like Litehouse the best).
