Cake recipe from my mother's old Betty Crocker cookbook
Grease and flour 9" square pan.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
Beat eggs in small mixer bowl until very thick and lemon-colored.
Pour beaten eggs into large mixer bowl and beat sugar in gradually.
Blen hot water, vanilla and flavoring in slowly on low speed.
Pour into pepared pan and put in oven immediately.
Bake until cake tests done.
Cool.
Temperature: 350-degrees
Time: Bake 25-30 minutes.
