Sue's never-fail recipe for perfect apple crisp each and every time.
Arrange apples on a well-greased 9 inch square pan or 2 qt casserole pan.
Sprinkle with water and lemon juice.
Mix sugars, flour, cinnamon and oatmeal - Stir well to blend. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Spoon crumb mixture over apples.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-50 minutes.
