Beef Satay over pilaf
Original recipe makes 4 Servings
| 1 poundSirloin Or Flank Steak; trimmed and thinly sliced |
| 1/3 cupSoy sauce |
| 2 teaspoonsPeanut butter |
| 1 1/2 inchesGinger roots; chopped |
| 2 teaspoonsSugar |
| 3 tbsLime juice |
| 1 cupChicken broth |
| 5 1/2 ouncesUnprepared rice pilaf mix |
Beef Satay over pilaf Preparation
Thread beef onto skewers and set in shallow dish. Blend soy sauce, pb, ginger, garlic, sugar, and lime juice until ginger and garlic are minced. Pour over beef, turning to coat all sides. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 min and up to 24 hours. Make pilaf according to package directions. Grill skewers, reserving marinad. Combine marinade and chicken broth and bring to boil.
