Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1 package (12 oz)Linguine pasta
1/4 cupButter; melted
4 tablespoonOnion; diced
4 teaspoonGarlic; minced
40 smallShrimp; peeled and deveined
1 cupHalf-and-half cream
2 teaspoonBlack pepper; ground
6 tablespoonParmesan; grated
4 sprigsFresh parsley
4 slicesLemon; for garnish

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo Preparation

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling water until al dente; drain.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan. Saute onion and garlic over medium heat until tender. Add shrimp; saute over high heat for 1 min., stirring constantly. Stir in half-and-half. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

Place pasta in a serving dish, and cover with shrimp sauce. Sprinkle with black pepper and parmesan cheese. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
