"Daughter and Son inlaw were here for the weekend, se we went to Big-oven for ideas with pasta, i must say this was absolutely killer. we made the following modifications, 1. we used 3/4 stick of butter. 2. we used 1/2 cup of fresh parsley. 3. we used precooked salad shrimp 1/2 lb. 4. poured the 1/2 cup of wine in the measuring cup and drank the rest."- JFN

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with olive oil. Melt butter in skillet. Add garlic and onion and saute until onion is tender.
Add sweet pepper. Add parsley flakes and white wine. Pour mixture over pasta and toss until blended. Add shrimp, mushrooms and cheese. Toss and serve immediately.

hannahlawrence 1 year agoLove this recipe!!! I am a vegetarian and my dad is allergic to corn, dairy, and peanuts. So easy to make for the entire family, but add more bell pepper and mushrooms, you want to sauté these. Now I just wish we had a bigger stove top

Aprilcooks 1 year agoI cooked this tonight and it was sooooo good. The wine sauce was excellent and it was nice and buttery. I added tomatoes and lemon zest to mine and it was perfect!

Iamachelsea 1 year agoIt looked a little bland, I added green beans, red and yellow bell peppers purple cabbage and salt black and red pepper and it was quite delish!
Bmendez109 2 years agoJust made it & it's great , I added a bit of lemon juice which gave it a great kick(: I will be trying it again & experimenting some more !
ChefJmgCbp 2 years agoMade it last night ..my girlfriend and I loved it..we followed the recipe to the tee..the grated cheese is must! And you can also kick it ip a notch by added some red pepper flakes. Well be making this dish again

Antowan 2 years agoHad fun preparing very quick and simple,but the taste can be kicked up a notch. Next time I make I will boil my shrimp in crab boil eleminate the olive oil altogether and use only butter,and add lemon. Also the tomatoes on top for a garnish was a good idea.

lovers045 2 years agoI haven't made this yet, but it looks delicious. I plan on making it this weekend. Is there anything that I could substitute the wine? I was thinking chicken broth.. maybe? Thanks in advance :)
