| 1 largeVidalia or sweet onion; thinly sliced |
| 8 slicesbacon; crumbled |
| 1 pie crust; can use refrigerated if desired |
| 8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese; softened |
| 1/4 cupSour Cream |
| 1/2 cupSwiss Cheese; shredded |
Rustic Carmelized Onion Tart Preparation
Cook onions and bacon in skillet on medium high heat 10 to 12 minutes or until onions are tender, stirring frequently.
Heat oven to 400*F. Unroll pie crust onto baking sheet. Mix cream cheese and sour cream, spread onto crust. Spoon onion mixture onto center of crust, leaving a 2 inch border. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Fold border over filling, leaving opening in center and pleating crust as necessary to fit.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Cool slightly. Cut into pie shaped wedges to serve.
