Crazy amazing tasting pizza!!!
Dough:
- Pour warm water into a large bowl.
- Add sugar (to welcome the yeast!)
- Stir in the yeast until it''s all wet.
- Cover with a towel and allow to rest until yeast foams (at least 5 minutes).
- Mix the vegetable oil into yeast mixture.
- Combine the salt, rosemary, garlic powder, and Spelt flour together in a bowl.
- Add to yeast mixture. Stir with a fork.
- Gather into a loose ball and knead until a smooth ball forms then knead a bit longer. If sticky, add more flour and knead until no longer sticky.
- Cover with a towel and let rest 1/2 hour.
Topping:
- Heat a small frying pan on medium high heat.
- Spray with cooking spray
- Fry chicken breast until browned on one side.
- Flip breast and fry until browned.
- Add 1/2 cup water to the pan.
- Cover.
- Turn heat down to medium.
- Cook until chicken is cooked through.
- Allow chicken to cool while making the Sauce and the Garlic Butter (below).
- Shred or chop the chicken and season with the rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
MAKE THE SAUCE
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in salt, pepper and flour then stir in milk and cheese.
- Simmer, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Stir in the half jar of alfredo sauce.
- Remove from heat.
- Cover.
MAKE THE GARLIC BUTTER
- Place the butter in a small dish and melt in microwave.
- Stir in the garlic, rosemary and salt.
- Put in microwave for a few second to cook the garlic.
ASSEMBLE THE PIZZA
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Punch down down and knead for a bit longer. If it is sticky add more spelt flour and knead until no longer sticky.
- Sprinkle one 9X13 baking stone and one pie tin with cornmeal.
- Spread dough into both pans. Mound the dough around the edges to create a crust.
- Brush dough with garlic butter.
- Spread alfredo sauce over dough.
- Top with chicken and any additonal toppings desired.
- Sprinkle mozareall cheese evenly over top.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese begins to brown.
- Let rest 3 minutes before cutting.
