Won Ton Salad
Original recipe makes 4
| 1 headCabbage; chopped |
| 1 bunchchives; chopped |
| 4 chicken breasts; cooked and shredded (optional) |
| 1/4 poundwon ton wrappers; in thin strips, deep fried in oil |
| 1/2 pkgBean threads; fried |
| -- DRESSING -- |
| 1/3 cupRice vinegar |
| 1/2 cupOlive oil |
| 1 teaspoonsesame oil |
| 2 clovesFresh garlic, minced |
| 1 tablespoonTamari soy sauce |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/2 cupHoney or agave |
Won Ton Salad Preparation
Alternatively, you can just use choppedlettuce, green onion and chopped almonds and pour the dressing over it. If I make it for a party with "regular" appetites I will add the fried wrappers and bean threads to make it more exciting but I usually leave out the chicken.
