Impossibly Easy Taco Pie (Gluten Free)

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Casseroles

No taco shells are needed for enjoying the great taco flavor of this easy main-dish pie. Bettycrocker.com

"I made this, like TuckerTsMom, with Ro-Tel tomatoes w/green chiles instead of the green chiles. No need for salsa, it had enough of a kick with just that. I am gluten free, but hubby and kid aren't and all three of us LOVED it! @Deb81j, Bisquick is a baking mix, but you can make your own with 1 c flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, and when you use it toss in a tablespoonful of a fat like butter or shortening. Thank you for sharing, Jenn! This will go on our favorites list for sure!" - freeda76

My new favorite have made it twice in the last ten days and served it at dinner party and got rave reviews. We put lettuce on top and little salsa and fresh tomatoes !

I just made this and we loved it! When I did up my meat I also added some Belle pepper and a chopped jalapeno to the pan with the onion and left out the canned Chiles just because I had th in rhe fridge! We also added lettuce, tomatoes and olives to the top with the sour cream and salsa so yummy!!!

Hubby and I both liked it. Might try with corn muffin mix instead of bisquick next time.

I made this with on-hand ingredients: regular Bisquick instead of gluten-free, a can of well drained Rotel Hot instead of the green chilis, and plain Greek yogurt instead of salsa and sour cream. Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
