Hawaiian Tacos
Original recipe makes 6 Servings
| 12 eaHard Tacos |
| 1 packageCheddar Cheese; shredded |
| 2 clovesGarlic; minced |
| 3/4 eaOnion; chopped |
| 1 dashHot pepper sauce |
| 1 poundSweet Italian Sausage |
| -- Hawaiian Salsa -- |
| 1/2 Onion; chopped |
| 1 mediumCucumber; seeded, chopped |
| 1 can (8 oz)Pineapple; chopped |
| 3 eaPepper, Jalapeno; seeded, chopped |
| 3 eaRoma Tomatoes; seeded, diced |
| 1 tablespoonBrown sugar |
| 1 tablespoonItalian Parsley |
Hawaiian Tacos Preparation
Brown Italian Sausage in skillet, remove with slotted spoon and discard grease. Add onions and garlic to skillet and saute until softened. Put sausage in food processor and lightly pulse, until large chunks are gone. Add sausage back to skillet, mix with onions and garlic then set aside.
Put all Salsa ingrediants in bowl and mix. Add salt and pepper as need. Cover and let stand for at least 2 hours in refridgerator.
Put meat mixture into taco, then add salsa and top with cheese.
