The recipe from my Aunt Babe is a family favorite.
Mix sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallows, margarine and salt. Stir and cook over medium heat until it comes to a full boil.
Boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in cherry chips and vanilla.
Spread 9 x 13 inch pan.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.
Spread over top of cherry mix. (which has cooled.).
You can add chopped nuts to the topping.
