A really delicious dish and very quick. This is our favorite way to fix mushrooms, they're simply scrumptious.
Slice mushrooms and trim ends of pea pods. Combine Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Heat Wok or frying pan on high heat for 5 minutes.
Heat 1tablespoon Sesame oil in Wok, reduce heat to medium, add pea pods and stir-fry until they turn bright green, about 1 minute. Remove.
Heat 4 tablespoons Sesame oil in Wok, letting Wok reheat for a minute or two, then add mushrooms and ginger. Stir-fry about 2 minutes, add the Sauce mixture and cook for several minutes, until most of the sauce is absorbed by mushrooms.
Add pea pods and green onions, stir-fry until warmed (about 1 minute)
Serve immediately.
Stir-fry steak or pork with this and serve over white rice for a great meal, use about a quarter to half as much meat as vegetables. When stir-frying meat, use good quality, tender cuts.
