Hot Dog Chili New York Style (no beans)

Recipes »  Soups, Stews and Chili  »  Chili without Beans

This no beans New York style chili is great on hot dogs, but also works well with nachos and even on hamburgers for a fun treat.

"This was really good, it's easy to throw together and then just let it simmer down to the right consistency. You can also adjust the spices if you prefer more or less hot." - melarky

1 tspCrushed Red Peppers

Brown the ground beef, and drain the fat. Add in all of the dry ingredients and stir. Add water and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Reduce heat to simmer. Let simmer for 2 - 3 hours until the chili is the consistency you prefer (less time for a more soupy chili, more time for a chunkier chili).
