| 3 lbs. Pork Tenderloin Roast |
| 1 qt.Sauerkraut; (Bagged kind) |
| 1 eachGood sized Cooking Apple peeled and chopped. |
| 1 eachMedium Onion peeled and chopped. |
| 1 cupBrown Sugar |
| 1 CupApple Juice |
| 1 pinchCaraway seeds |
| 1 pinchsalt |
| 1 pinchpepper |
Crock Pot Pork Roast with Sauerkraut Preparation
Layer in 1/2 onions and 1/2 apples. Season Pork Roast with salt and pepper, and place on top of onions and apples. Put remaining apples and onions on top of roast. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Drain Sauerkraut and place on top. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of sauerkraut. Pour apple juice around the sides. Cook for 8 hours on Low in a Crock Pot.
Notes
Some sauerkraut requires rinsing before adding to the recipe to avoid excess salt.
