Beef - Crockpot - Beef with Cheesy Dumplings
| 2 tablespoonsOlive oil |
| 1 4/5 kilogramsGravy Beef; chopped |
| 400 gramsMushrooms; sliced |
| 5 rashersBacon; chopped |
| 1 wholeOnion; chopped |
| 2 teaspoonsGarlic; crushed |
| 1 canTomatoes; crushed |
| 2 cupsStock - beef |
| 1 cupWine - red |
| 1/3 cupTomato Paste |
| 2 cupsFlour - Self Raising |
| 80 gramsButter; chopped |
| 60 gramsParmesan; shredded |
| 3/4 cupMilk |
Beef - Crockpot - Beef with Cheesy Dumplings Preparation
Heat oil in pot
Add beef, brown.
Add all remaining ingredients (except flour, cheese, milk, butter)
Cook in crockpot for the day (or slowly in oven for 2 hours)
Make up dumplings - rub butter into flour with fingers, stir through seasoning, milk and some of the parmesan.
Divide dumpling mix into 18 and roll into balls
Transfer finished beef to a casserole dish, top with dumplings, brush with egg and sprinkle with remaining parmesan
Bake for 20 minutes until dumplings golden brown
