"Great recipe. To add even more protein and spice, I substituted Aduki Beans and added a little salt, pinch of pepper flakes, 1T of vinegar and a splash of Sriracha Sauce. This will my winter delight on cold, cloudy days."- lhester526
Top-ranked recipe named "Kale & Potato Soup"
Add all items except kale to large soup pot. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
Cook until potatoes are almost done (about 20 minutes) and add kale.
Continue cooking for 10 minutes.
Serve in soup bowl.
Nikhomemadegood 2 months agoBland as written. I get that it's healthy food, but healthy can taste more flavorful. If I made this again I would triple the (fresh!) garlic and spices, add Worcestershire, & maybe a can of V8 or tomato sauce.

LisaAngelina 1 year agoVery good soup and very versatile. Used sweet potatoes to add color and more nutrition. Used pintos since I didn't have kidney beans. Will make it again for sure.

Hansmarcuson 2 years agoWhat a GREAT use for KALE! This recipe was very easy, and the soup is good. I used the precut and bagged kale with the stems, and the crunch was GREAT!
