| 1/2 tspsalt |

| 1 cupslivered almonds |
| 1/2 cupbutter |
Buttermilk almond chocolate scones Preparation
Preheat oven to 450, prepare greased cookie sheet. Begin - mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Cut in butter with two knives or pastry blender. In a small bowl whisk together eggs, buttermilk, and almond extract until blended. Mix egg mixture, and remaining ingredients into the flour mixture until just blended. With lightly floured hands, form dough into an 8" round. Score top into 8 wedges. Bake for 18-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely and enjoy!
