Original recipe makes 1 cup
1 tablespoonunsalted butter; melted
2 teaspoonsWorcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoonhot or mild pure chili powder; such as ancho
1/4 teaspoongarlic salt
1/8 teaspooncayenne pepper
1 cupshelled walnut pieces

Spiced Walnuts for white cheddar and sun dried tomato biscotti Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Have a small baking sheet at hand.

Whisk together the butter, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic salt and cayenne pepper in a small bowl, then add the walnut pieces and toss to coat evenly.

Spread the nuts on the baking sheet; bake for about 10 minutes, until they are fragrant and beginning to brown. Let cool completely before using.
