|1 mediumonion; chopped|
|3 tablespoonsolive oil|
|1 1/2 poundsground beef|
|1 clovegarlic; minced|
|2 canstomato sauce; 8 oz|
|1 cantomato paste; 6 oz|
|1 teaspoonoregano leaves|
|12 ouncesNoodles; lasagna|
|1 poundricotta cheese|
|1/2 poundmozzarella cheese; thinly sliced|
|1/2 cupparmesan cheese; shredded|
Cook onion, beef, garlic. Drain fat.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, and water.
Add salt, oregano, pepper, and sugar.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Cook lasagna noodles. Drain.
Arrange 1/3 of noodles in bottom of 9x13 pan, spread 1/3 of tomato sauce over noodles, top with 1/3 of ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat this two times. Top with Parmasean cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
