| 1 cupOnion; chopped |
| 6 clovesGarlic; chopped |
| 1 can (16 oz)Tomato sauce |
| 1 can (16 oz)Pinto beans; drained |
| 1 can (16 oz)Chili beans; undrained |
| 1 can (4.5 oz)Green chilies; undrained |
| 1 tablespoonChili powder |
| 1 1/2 teaspoonCumin; ground |
| 1 teaspoonOregano; dried |
| 1 packageJiffy cornbread mix |
| 1 cupCheddar; grated |
CHILI CORNBREAD CASSEROLE (18) Preparation
- Oven to 400
- Saute first 3 ingredients until beef is done
- Combine beef with remaining ingredients except cornbread mixture
- Pour into a 2 qt. baking dish
- Prepare cornbread according to package directions, adding grated cheddar cheese
- Pour over beef mixture
- Bake 30 mins.
