Mom's Cheesecake Preparation
Make the graham cracker crumbs into a crust as directed on it's box. Wrap the outside of a springform pan with aluminum foil. Press crumb mixture into the bottom of the pan.
Cream the cream cheese and sugar until completely smooth. Add eggs ONE at a time. Beat. Fold in the sour cream & vanilla. Pour on top of the cracker crust. Put the springform pan into a roaster pan then fill the roaster with water. Approx 1 inch deep.
Bake @ 375 for 50 minutes. Turn oven off and DON'T OPEN THE DOOR FOR 1 HOUR. take out of oven and then let it cool completely before removing the spring form pan
