"Made it yesterday and it was great. I cooked it for about 30 mintues and the fish was a little overcooked but still good. I had alot of the cheese mixture left so i added a bunch more on too. And i followed some advice in sprying some olive oil and it came out cruchy. I also added a little more salt and a little garlic power to the mixture just to have a little more flavor. Combine cheese, flour, paprika and salt and pepper in bowl.
Beat eggs and milk
Dip fish in egg mixture then in cheese mixture and coat well
Place fish in a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake uncovered @ 350 for 20 - 35 minutes

hotstuffnthekitchen 3 months agoWe made it with flounder. I enjoyed the flavors. I will try to crisp it up a bit more next time under the broiler as someone else suggested. It was yummy.
dakotarussell 3 months agoThis is a great way to bake tilapia. The outside gets brown and crunchy, but the inside stays moist. I usually add a handful of Panko crumbs and a dribble of olive oil into my mix. Gives it a little more texture.

sHellsKitchen 6 months agoPleasantly surprised by this recipe, as I didn't expect Parmesan cheese would pair so well with fish! Substituted Old Bay for the paprika, and sprinkled in some garlic powder too. The family loved it and they're not typically fish eaters. Thanks!
karenmadorelee 7 months agoPut 1/2 cup floor on a plate. Mix parmesan, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and milk in a bowl. Coat fish in flour then mixture. Sear in pan, skin down until bottom is hidden Brown. Put in oven for 5 min. Then flip. Cook for about 10 min
