Tangy Smothered Pork Chops
Original recipe makes 4 Servings
| 4 Pork Chops |
| 1/2 cupFlour; all-purpose |
| 1/4 teaspoonGarlic Powder |
| 2 tablespoonVegetable Oil |
| 1 canCondensed Cream of Mushroom Soup |
| 1 can (8 oz)Mushroom; stems and pieces, drained |
| 3/4 cupMilk |
| 1 containerFrench-Fried Onions |
Tangy Smothered Pork Chops Preparation
In a shallow dish, combine all-purpose flour and garlic powder; mix well.
Coat pork chops with the seasoned flour.
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over high heat.
Add pork chops and brown 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Add soup, mushrooms, and milk; mix well.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook 15 to 18 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and tender.
Sprinkle with French-fried onions and serve.
