| 1 1/2 cupwheat/whole wheat flour |
| 1 teasbaking soda |
| 1/2 teasbaking powder |
| 1 teassalt |
| 1/2 cuebrown sugar |
| 2 cupsoatmeal |
| 1 1/2 sticksbutter |
| 3/4 cupraisins |
| 1/2 cupcream |
| 3/4 cupbuttermilk |
Oat Scones Preparation
Oven 375 degrees
Mix dry ingredients in bowl of mixer.
Add butter cut into cubes.
Mix until size of peas.
Add raisins.
Add cream/milk.
Mix briefly.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Scope 12 scones onto lined baking pan.
Flatten with glass bottom dipped in Cinnamon/Sugar mixture.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool on rack
