1) Pour oil into pan
2) Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and roast for a few seconds
3) Ad onions and fry for a few seconds
4) Add Channa Dal and peanuts and fry till they brown
5) Add chopped ginger, chopped onion and the green chillies
6) Once everything is fried, add two cups of water and boil till it bubbles
7) Then add semolina slowly and mix it as you add it
8) Boil till the mix is semisolid.
