We lovingly call these "Grandma Muffins" as grandma always brings them when she comes to visit!
In one bowl pour boiling water over bran. In second bowl combine all the ingredients adding the oil last, then add bran.
Spoon in to muffin pan (use paper cups if you want).
Sprinkle tops with sugar.
Bake at 400* for 12 - 15 minutes
