Original recipe makes 6 Servings
1.5 poundBeef; boneless round steak, about 3/4" thick
1/2 teaspoonSeasoned salt
6 eachNew potatoes; cut into fourths
1 mediumOnion; sliced
1 can (14 1/2 oz)Tomatoes diced with basil, garlic & oregano,; undrained
1 jar (12 oz)Homestyle Beef Gravy
2 tablespoonParsley; fresh, chopped, if desired

Swiss Steak Supper Preparation

1. Remove excess fat from beef. Cut beef into 6 serving pieces. Spray 12" skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Sprinkle beef with seasoned salt. Cook beef in skillet for about 8 minutes, turning once, until brown.

2. Layer potatoes, carrots, beef and onion in a 3 1/2 - 6 quart slow cooker. Mix tomatoes and gravy; spoon over beef and vegetables.

3. Cover and cook on low heat seeting for 7-9 hours or until beef and vegetables are tender. Sprinkle with parsely to serve.
