Original recipe makes 48 Servings
2 3/4 cupFlour; Sifted
1 tspBaking powder
1 tspSalt
3/4 cupButter
1 cupSugar
2 wholeEgg
1 tspVanilla extract
1 tspAlmond extract

Dessert- Cookie-Cutter Cookies Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Place the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and almond extract in a large bowl, and beat until fluffy. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat. Chill for one hour or until firm. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutter to make cookies. Bake the cookies at 375 F fro about 9 minutes, or until just turning golden. Remove form the oven and cool on a rack. Frost the cookies with icing and decorate them with sugar sprinkles.

Notes

To prevent the cookies from sticking to the baking tray, allow them to cool slightly before moving them to the rack.
