Baked penne made with Philadelphia cooking creme

"This is one of my favorite recipes. My husband said it tastes like lasagna and he absolutely loved it, as did I. I did leave the peppers out but used the onions. I hope you enjoy this. I"ll post a pic next time I make it." - Troublebh

Original recipe makes 6 Servings
1/2 lbextra lean ground beef
1/2 cupchopped onions and green peppers
1 jar (24 oz)spaghetti sauce
1 tub (10 oz)philadelphia italian cheese & herb cooking creme
1 cupshredded mozzarella cheese
3 cupscooked penne pasta; (do this first)

Baked Penne Preparation

Heat over to 350

Make penne as directed on package, set aside.

brown meat with vegetables in a large nonstick skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup cooking creme and 1/2 cup mozzarella: cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until mozzarella is melted.

Add pasta; mix lightly

spoon in 2-qt. casserole; top with remaining cooking creme and mozzarella. Cover.

Bake 20 minutes or until heated through uncovering after 15 minutes.

Notes

Yummy recipe. I only used the onions, not the peppers though. :) Hope you like it.
