Catriona's homemade pizza dough Preparation
put the dry mix in a bowl and make a hole, then measure the water and olive oil pour the hot/cold mix with oil in slowly mixing in to soft dough,
work out mix onto counter add a little flour to help to stop sticking.
give the dough a really good working over for about 10minutes
then shape into a ball, place into bowl cover with towel untill it doubles in size.
then beat bk down until air is all gone
you can then cut dough into 4 or 6oz balls depending on size pizza or thin or deep base
i like deep base pizza's so i cut and turn each of mine to a 6 or 8 oz.
leave them to double in size again so you can roll them out with a little strong flour!
my own sauce
1 tub of tomato puree
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
25ml of olive oil
add to taste dried oregano
crushed 2 garlic
sweet paprika
salt/pepper
dried thyme
mixed herbs
depending on ur taste play with this mix to find ur ideal sauce
blend all together with hand blender.
spread over your pizza
add which ever toppings you like!
enjoy;)
