Cut each lemon into 1/4 inch slices; cut each slice into four wedges. Fill each compartment of 3 ice cube trays with a lemon wedge.

Stir the water and lemon juice together in a pitcher. Pour into ice cube trays. Freeze 8 hours or until solid.

To make lime ice cubes simply substitute the lemons and lemon juice with limes and lime juice.
