Preheat large skillet with olive. Salt and pepper steaks, then sear on both sides in hot skillet. Add tomato puree and paste and onion soup mix. Mix well to incorporate, ensuring steaks are resting on a layer of sauce. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
Serve witth rice and ladle extra sauce on rice and steaks
