Creamy, rich, and delicious treatment for chicken.

Chicken breasts are coated with seasoned breadcrumbs, bathed in Alfredo Sauce, then topped with tomatoes & two cheeses for a delicious twist on a traditional dish.

Serve, if desired, with hot cooked pasta.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves; (about 1-1/4 lbs.)
1 egg; beaten
3/4 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs; or plain crumbs combined with 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 jar Alfredo Sauce; (1 lb. 10 oz.)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese; (about 2 oz.)
1 medium tomato; chopped
grated parmesan cheese; (if desired)
Hot cooked pasta; (if desired)

Original recipe makes 4 Servings

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400F. Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs combined with garlic powder and paprika, coating well.

Arrange chicken in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes.

Pour 1 cup sauce over chicken; top with cheese, then tomato. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Serve with remaining sauce, heated, and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.

Place over hot cooked pasta if desired.

What great flavor in so little time! I was locked in traffic all the way home, no time to hit the store, dinner was looking bleak but this recipe saved the day! We SO enjoyed it; savory breaded chicken, rich alfredo, melting cheese, how could we not?! You are a life saver, TY!

Love this recipe, its just fantastic. Easy to make and who doesnt like crispy chicken in a delicious sauce. But the cheeses really push it over the edge. I got many compliments. Def going in Favorites.

Delicious and easy to make. My wife and I crusted the chicken breast with croutons and it turned out great!

The whole family really liked this recipe. Big plus too that it is easy to make. The only thing I may do different the next time I make it is to cut the chicken into smaller pieces to reduce the baking time, otherwise very good!
