I always marveled at how creamy some soups could be, with this recipe I figured it out! This chowder is one of those Throw-It-In-a-Pot recipes.

Original recipe makes 7 Servings
4 SlicesBacon
1 Onion; Chopped
2 CansCream Style Corn
2 CupsHeavy Whipping Cream
1 StickButter
2 CupsChicken Broth
2 Potatoes; Chopped
2 Bay Leaves

Corn Chowder Preparation

1. Saute Onion in pot and add broth and potatoes and bay leaves. Cook for 20 minutes.

2. Add corn, half & half. Shred the cooked chicken and add to pot.

3. Add Butter and bacon and simmer for 10 minutes.

Garnish with shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream and bacon.

Notes

Yes, it's that easy. Pretty much just throw the ingredients in the pot and Voila!
