Original recipe makes 8 Servings
Chocolate Pie Preparation
Cook in a double boiler until thick, stir constantly as it thickens. Pour into a baked pie crust shell.
Meringue:
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar, when soft peaks have formed slowly add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks are formed. Spread on top of pie making sure it touches the pie shell, and bake @ 325 degrees until brown (20-30 minutes)
